Job Role and Details
Citi is hiring for two positions: data analyst and asset analyst. Both positions are based in Bangalore or Pune, India. The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. The candidates should also have good communication skills, customer service skills, and attention to detail.
Data Analyst
The data analyst is responsible for various data activities, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture/design engineering. The data analyst will perform routine operational or administrative work, such as administering defined procedures, conducting analyses, and preparing reports. The data analyst will also assess risk and comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Asset Analyst
The asset analyst is responsible for revising communications, notifications, and facilitating postings for corporate action or proxy events. The asset analyst will review all corporate action and proximity events received, ensuring a detailed understanding and processing requirements. The asset analyst will also liaise with all units and departments related to and impacting clients on corporate action and proxy items. The asset analyst will also proactively reconcile instructions against eligible holders and execute client votes. The asset analyst will also research and resolve all discrepancies within department standards. The asset analyst will also review and update all processes and procedures in a timely and accurate manner. The asset analyst will also identify and report any gaps or system enhancements. The Asset Analyst will also participate in all testing and successful implementations. The Asset Analyst will also assess risk and comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience
Preferred skills
- High attention to detail.
- Customer service skills.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments, including Equity securities, Fixed Income, and Asset Backed securities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access) is desired.
