GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent: A Key Role for eBay’s Growth(job roles)
eBay is hiring for the position of GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent in Mumbai, India. This role is part of the Global Customer Experience (GCX) team, which is responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to eBay’s sellers and buyers. The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will work closely with the account managers and the merchants to address their issues and concerns related to eBay’s policies, standards, and tools
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries: The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will handle customer email and chat channels, and possibly phone calls, to resolve their issues in a timely and efficient manner. The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will also adhere to defined processes and SLAs, and demonstrate attention to detail and quality.
- Advise and coach merchants: The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will act as a trusted advisor to the sellers and account managers, and provide them with guidance and solutions related to defect review/removal, eMBG case review/action, technical issues, product issues, and standards/policy-related matters impacting sales growth. The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will also educate and encourage the merchants to adopt eBay’s tools and standard processes, and to proactively avoid potential problems.
- Collaborate with internal partners: The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will interact with other teams and departments within eBay, such as policy makers, technical teams, and advisors, to facilitate speedy issue resolution and to share insights and feedback. The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will also communicate learned experiences with the team and the key stakeholders, and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving team performance and processes.
- Establish trust and rapport: The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will demonstrate empathy and ownership when dealing with customer concerns, and use negotiation and influence skills when necessary to advocate on behalf of eBay and/or the customer. The GCX Commercial Teammate/ Risk Operations Agent will also establish trust and rapport with the customers, and foster a positive and professional image of eBay.
Eligibility Criteria and Skills

- Any Graduate: The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
