Job Role and Details
- HSBC is hiring for the positions of Business Analyst and CA Industrial Trainee in Bangalore and Mumbai, India.
- The business analyst role involves playing a content-heavy role, requiring a strong demonstration of business knowledge, sound business sense, and staying updated on industry trends both in terms of business and technology.
- The business analyst also needs to engage with various business stakeholders, shape business requirements and solution designs, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- The CA Industrial Trainee role involves collaborating with senior members of the transaction banking team to attain quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial, and performance goals for the team.
- The CA Industrial Trainee also needs to engage closely with internal stakeholders to assist in strategic business planning and various commercial activities for the business.
Eligibility Criteria and Required Skills
- The candidates for both positions should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- The preferred skills for the Business Analyst position include: proficient comprehension of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice methodologies, comprehensive understanding of the purpose, values, culture, and fundamentals of Global Transformation, exceptional understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes, and objectives, strong knowledge of the external environment, including regulatory, political, and competitive factors, fundamental knowledge of business reengineering, expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and design techniques, familiarity with change management and implementation management techniques and approaches, proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant, and/or project manager, and in-depth knowledge of the overall financial services industry with specific functional expertise. The preferred skills for the CA Industrial Trainee position include: strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation skills; a good understanding of financial products and services; the ability to work independently and in a team; and the willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
