Software Engineer: A Key Role in Alcon’s Supply Chain Applications

Alcon is hiring for the position of Software Engineer in Bangalore, India. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Supply Chain Applications with the required skill set. The Software Engineer will also support new and ongoing projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage key deliverables. The Software Engineer will contribute to the preparation of various documents related to Alcon’s software development.

Eligibility Criteria and Required Skills for Software Engineer

To apply for the Software Engineer position, you need to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. You also need to have the following skills and experience:

• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and Database concepts, including SQL.

• Programming skills in languages like Java, C#, C++, or Python (Python is preferred).
• Experience in developing web applications using frameworks like Django, Flask, ASP.NET, etc.
